If you've seen The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy you pretty much know what to expect with this third installment. And if you liked them rest assured, The Bourne Ultimatum doth too kick much ass.
Coming off the first two, I felt like Ultimatum devoted even more time for action, as that darn CIA just couldn't leave well enough alone. On the run again, Bourne takes the fight back to its source, and as the memories become clearer he learns just how he became a human weapon. (Not to be confused with The Perfect Weapon.) Bourne's birthing method concludes with a rather disturbing bit of initiation that the rest of the film's violence won't soften.
Ultimatum kicks ass. I got mine for Christmas, go get yours. Oh, movie review post title stolen from/in reverence to Conan O'Brien.

All day ... weed.
Been seeing ads for Super Deluxe on Adult Swim for a while now and finally checked it out. This was the first thing I encountered. Nick Swardson with guest appearances by Cardellini and Busy Philipps.
Super Deluxe vids keeps running while I'm posting this. Good stuff. And while I feel I should dislike Simon Rex (he worked for MTV afterall), he is pretty funny. I think I accepted this fact after his Mazda Protege line on Cribs.

Andre, my team is sorry
(Think L7's "Andres" for post title.)
Despite the fact my first two draft picks (who shall remain nameless) either stunk or were hurt most the season, I think I still could have made the playoffs in my fantasy football league if I had wide receiver Andre Johnson of the Houston Texans healthy all season. He was money when healthy, averaging 100 yards and a touchdown per game. But he only played seven, and the Pacmen are in last place, missing the playoffs.
Naming my team after the suspended Titans cornerback/professional wrestler Pacman Jones may have been bad karma, but Pacman did well by me last year, and I stick by my players. The efforts of those who fought hard for me down the stretch this year will not be forgotten come 2008.
Also, we need to give Cool Uniform Props to the Texans for trotting out the red jersey/red pants combo against the Broncos this past week.

Fight of the year?
Everyone's fight of the year lists will be coming out in the coming weeks, and Roger Huerta vs. Clay Guida at the Dec. 8 Ultimate Fighter Finale will definitely be a candidate. I've been getting kinda jaded on UFC lately, but this was a great fight. I like Huerta, but I had to respect Guida walking (running?) to the ring with Refused's "New Noise" playing, and he was into it. As it started I just wanted to see a good fight. They complied.
Another great fight on the card was Jon "War Machine" Koppenhaver vs. Jared "J-Roc" Rollins.
Spike reruns their fights all the time, and I see it's on Friday and Saturday, so check it out if you haven't seen.

This ever happen to you?
It's 3:55 a.m. today, I'm flipping around the TV and see a documentary I've never heard of, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: Runnin' Down a Dream, is coming on IFC at 4. I then flip over to VH1 Classic and the video for Runnin' Down a Dream is ending. Weird.
I'd have watched the doc but it's four hours long. Next time, Tom Petty.

Finally, a comic with a gay dragon
I subscribe to Blair Butler's Fresh Ink podcast from G4, and she just mentioned this Quasar miniseries from Marvel again. The Quasar miniseries in which the titular character is a lesbian dating a gay dragon. I haven't read it, but at least I know where to go for that gay dragon fix.
On a whim I checked YouTube for this podcast. Two of the three Fresh Inks there were this one. Nice one, Internet.
When you search my titular labels, this will be the first one you see.
