AT-AT Day Afternoon by Patrick Boivin. Blog-worthy for shooting squirrels with lasers and Jabba the poop. And because AT-ATs are awesome.

Pierce the sky!

The Office is on its holiday break, so get a quick fix — or maybe pick up that last minute gift — over here. See also Boner Champ and Angela's online wedding album and, uh, this.
According to "the legend" of Princess Unicorn, she's from "a distant land on a distant planet, far away in the future." But she may well be from the Time of Legends, and related to Robert on the right here:

Lil' Simpsons
Kidrobot released some mini Simpsons figures today, and they look pretty sweet.
I might even consider getting a case to get all of them (although there are three chase figures too), but cases contain blind boxes, so you don't know what you're getting. This is common with limited edition toys like this, but I've never made such an order. Can you get stuck with 14 Wiggums, for example?
This is a problem with the Adult Swim figures too. I like a few, but not all.
You can buy open boxes at Fugitive Toys, so maybe I'll scoop some up there, though they don't appear to offer all the characters. Here's a dude from Fugitive showing some of the characters, though he calls Comic Book Guy "Gus." D'oh.

Aye Karimbah
Box art by Paul Pope for The Masked Karimbah toy to be released via Kidrobot. Yet another thing I would kind of need to have, if it weren't going to be sold out in two minutes.

Now I'm gonna show you what I already know
This is a really cool video for French techno duo zombie zombie's song "Driving This Road Until Death Sets You Free." It's a cool, atmospheric song, yes, but G.I. Joe action figures performing a homage to John Carpenter's The Thing takes it over the top. It was directed by Simon Gesrel and Xavier Ehretsmann.
If you haven't seen The Thing, this won't spoil it as it's not the exact same story, but it's along the same lines. Also, if you haven't seen the movie, definitely get on that because it rules.
UPDATE: Ugh, these new YouTube borders look like crap.

Hit the bricks, pal
Happy 50th birthday to LEGO, one of the coolest toys ever. Whenever I see them in a store or advertised somewhere I still want to get them. All the Star Wars LEGOs look cool, but I never had a big desire to see the early Michael Caine film Zulu in LEGO form.
